Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in Mine Engineering or related field is required.
  • Registration as an Engineer in Training in Ontario (PEO).
  • Previous experience in open-pit mining is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support mine budgets, surveying, drill & blast, mine design and planning.
  • Develop mine plans and designs consistent with industry best practices.
  • Interface between stakeholders and maintain production schedules.
  • Conduct inspections of pit walls and ensure compliance with standards.
