We’re looking for a Jr. Software Engineer Co-op to join the FlowPlatform team in Vancouver, BC for an 8-month co-op term. In this role, you will work on a variety of development teams across our entire engineering group.

Jr. Software Engineer Co-ops on the FlowPlatform team will be challenged with a wide variety of technologies and responsibilities that will give you valuable skills for your career as a DevOps Engineer. The FlowPlatform team has a large impact on the daily operations from everything from ensuring timely releases, supporting development infrastructure, and ensuring high uptime for our public-facing web services.

Students currently enrolled in an applicable co-op program at BCIT, UBC, UVic, or SFU will be considered for this role. Please note you must apply through your co-op office as well and provide your academic transcript with your application.

What You\'ll Do
  • Leverage Planview-approved Gen AI tools including OpenAI’s and Amazon’s to assist/augment your learning and productivity.
  • Design, develop, and test applications in accordance with established standards.
  • Participate in peer reviews of source code.
  • Analyze, reproduce, and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
  • Develop and maintain automation tools including release automation and infrastructure automation for both on-site and cloud assets (AWS, Azure).
  • Develop, test, and maintain internal and customer-facing web applications.
  • Evaluate best-of-breed tools that can add value, efficiency and optimization to our operations.
  • Contribute to Platform Engineering and DevSecOps initiatives.
