We’re looking for a Journeyperson HVAC Mechanic who’s ready to take on the challenge of servicing some of the largest mobile machines in the world—from electric and hydraulic shovels to drills, loaders, and ultra‑class haul trucks. This is surface mining at its biggest and boldest, and your expertise will keep these beasts cool, comfortable, and operational. You’ll be installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC systems on high‑value mining equipment. Whether you're diagnosing Mine Air units in the field, repairing shovel air compressors, or helping customers spec the right system for their fleet, your work will be critical to keeping operations efficient and crews safe. If you know your way around heavy iron, thrive in high‑stakes environments, and can spot a failing compressor from a mile away—we want you on our team.
Reports to: Supervisor, HVAC
Shift: 7x7, 12h day shifts
Safety Sensitive: Yes- drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5‑year provincial driving record will be required
Travel: up to 25% within Canada and the USA
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation
