Job description

Jasmine Early Learning is looking for two responsible and reliable ECE/ITE Teachers who enjoy working with young children and are eager to develop through first-hand experiences with children. The teacher applicant shall be willing to learn with an open mind in daily practices.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be in the infant toddler room or 3-5 years age group. This full-time position will work 40 hours per week between the hours of 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education (ECE)/Infant toddler education (ITE) Certificate
• Current First Aid/CPR Certificate
• Evidence of a clear police information check with vulnerable sector search
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 years in a licensed childcare setting (preferred)
• Familiar with current BC Licensing Regulations
• Knowledge of the Montessori and Reggio Emilia methodology (preferred)

Salary and Benefits

Expected start date: March-May 2024 or until the right candidate is found.

Job Type: We are a growing family business. We have two group programs, infant and toddler room and 3-5 age group.

Schedule: for infant and toddler program, we are open from 8am – 4:30pm. For 3-5 age group, we are open 8am – 5:00pm.

Salary: $22 – $25 an hour – depending on experience. (Includes WE)

Additional pay: 2-week paid vacation yearly.
