Overview

Our client is seeking a hands-on and solutions-focused IT Manager to support and manage our dealership technology operations within four locations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company that has proudly that has been proudly serving our community for 100 years. This role plays a key part in ensuring our systems, networks, and applications run reliably and securely while supporting teams across sales, service, parts, finance, and administration. The IT Manager reports to the President and collaborates closely with department leaders and external vendors to address technical needs and improve system performance.

What you will be doing
  • Manage daily IT operations, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems.
  • Supervise IT Admins responsible for troubleshooting and technical support to dealership staff across all departments.
  • Oversee dealership systems, including telecommunications networks, dealer management systems, CRM, security infrastructure, and vendor-integrated applications.
  • Maintain network reliability, data security, backups, and crisis recovery processes.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including antivirus, firewalls, and access controls.
  • Liaise with third-party IT vendors and service providers.
  • Spearhead IT projects, including system rollouts, hardware updates, and software implementations.
  • Develop and improve IT processes, procedures, and service standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to users and teams on systems and technology tools.
What you must have
  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including system administration/support and supervisory roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of networks, systems, and user support.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or multi-location systems is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Valid BC DL class 5.

Logistical Requirements
  • This is a full-time position at the company with the head office located at 400 SE Marine Drive. Regular visits to other dealership locations within Metro Vancouver are required.

Salary/Rate Range: $80,000 – $100,000
