Job Title: Content Designer
Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description
- Content Designer (Digital Product Designer – Expert) for a Commercial/Business Banking transformation program, focused on designing clear, technically accurate content within a complex, highly regulated B2B payments and banking portal for commercial clients.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and maintain content across core business banking journeys, with emphasis on multiple payment methods and payment/payee management within a new commercial banking portal.
- Translate complex banking and payments concepts into clear, concise copy and information hierarchies that support user comprehension and task completion.
- Collaborate closely with interaction designers, visual designers, researchers, product owners, business, and technology partners as part of cross‑functional product squads.
- Facilitate and contribute to design critiques, providing content‑focused recommendations that ensure consistency, inclusivity, and clarity across overlapping features.
- Participate in ideation sessions and other collaborative design activities, contributing content and product‑thinking expertise.
- Create and manage short‑form UI content (labels, messages, in‑product help) with occasional medium/long‑form artifacts such as user guides and documentation.
- Use tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Figma (plus Mural, PowerPoint/Keynote) to document, track, and visualize content work and flows.
- Ensure content respects legal, regulatory, and compliance constraints inherent to financial services and business banking.
Must Have
- 7–10+ years overall professional experience, with expert‑level capability in content design, technical writing, or product‑focused writing (not marketing/SEO).
- Proven experience writing about complex, regulated products or systems (e.g., financial services, B2B, enterprise platforms) for professional users rather than general consumers.
- Strong information design and hierarchy skills, with emphasis on in‑product content rather than marketing/sales copy.
- Ability to quickly absorb complex business and regulatory requirements in a highly regulated banking environment.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, relationship‑building, communication, and presentation skills; comfortable engaging senior partners.
- High level of independence and self‑direction, with strong organization skills and attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.
- Comfort working in ambiguous problem spaces and bringing structure and clarity to them.
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial institutions, especially business/commercial banking or complex B2B products.
- Experience with Figma for flows and mockups and with journey maps/storyboards to tell experience narratives.
- Broader product design exposure or experience embedded in digital product teams.
- Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, Mural, and common presentation tools (PowerPoint/Keynote).
- Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design practices for digital products.
