A healthcare organization in Alberta is inviting applications for a full-time Cardiologist position in Red Deer. The role involves inpatient and outpatient services, emergency consults, and specialist on-call coverage. Candidates are expected to have certification with the Royal College and relevant experience. The position offers competitive compensation based on a fee-for-service model, with earnings between $600,000 and $900,000. Alberta Health Services, Central Zone, and the Department of Cardiology at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, invites applications for a Cardiologist with interventional skills to establish a full‑time practice in the community of Red Deer. Key accountabilities of this position will include: Inpatient & Outpatient Services, Emergency Consults, and Specialist On-Call Coverage. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development and planning of Red Deer's new cardiac cath labs.
Trainees who will be completing their training by July 2027 are welcome to apply.
Obtain and maintain an AHS Medical Staff Appointment and appropriate privileges to provide the Services;
Once chosen, the successful candidate may choose to operate their business by joining an existing independent outpatient practice or form an independent outpatient office of their own. This is the candidate's independent business decision and will not be managed through the recruitment process.
