Job Description

TripArc is seeking an Intermediate UX Designer to join our growing team. We translate user insights and business needs into thoughtful product experiences that support evolving platform capabilities. As the voice of Destination Experts, Travel Advisors, and DMCs (suppliers), we design tools that help manage the business of travel, from itinerary building to booking management. You’ll work within a product vertical and collaborate with researchers, developers, and product managers to create and refine effective user flows. This role is ideal for a strong designer looking to deepen their craft and grow their impact.

Responsibilities
  • As a member of the UX Design team, you will:
  • Identify user needs, sketch solutions with prototypes, test ideas, and refine designs with data and user feedback.
  • Use research insights, analytics, and usability testing to iterate and improve on your designs.
  • Work closely with your trifecta (UX, product and development teams) and stakeholders to develop solutions to new problems while bringing consistency, simplicity, and ease-of-use to the experience of our products.
  • Partner with developers throughout the handoff and build process, participating in QA when needed.
  • Help document design decisions, patterns, and specifications for implementation
  • Contribute to and build upon TripArc’s design system, ensuring consistency and scalability.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for both desktop and mobile environments.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in UX design.
  • An online portfolio showcasing your UX design work.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related discipline)
  • Strong UX and visual design skills, with the ability to leverage and expand upon an existing design system.
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and usability heuristics.
  • Proven experience delivering design solutions in ambiguous and evolving problem spaces with the ability to iterate fast.
  • Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to team growth.
  • A curious, continuous-learning mindset with an openness to feedback and new perspectives.
  • Proven ability to build trust, accept and provide feedback, across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in using prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Axure, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced, dynamic environments, with the ability to adapt to change.
  • An understanding of HTML/CSS/JS capabilities and limitations.
Nice-to-have Skills

Prior experience working in the travel industry or designing tools for B2B platforms is an asset.
