Position Description
Currently, Tetranex is seeking a full-time Intermediate/Senior Expeditor.
Responsibilities
- Track and expedite the delivery of equipment and materials required for specific projects.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and project teams to ensure timely shipment and delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team and suppliers/logistics providers.
- Address and resolve any issues related to the delivery or quality of equipment and materials.
- Prepare and or assist in Pre-fabrication meetings with team and vendors.
- Monitor and report on the status of equipment and material orders, including potential delays or issues.
- Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with project specifications, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure equipment and materials meet project specifications and standards upon delivery.
- Arrange for inspections and certifications as required.
- Support the project team with any additional tasks related to equipment and material logistics as needed.
- Material Management.
- Invoice attesting.
- Provide purchasing support:
- Support Buyer with Purchase Order administration including document management, meeting minutes and assists with the supplier qualification process.
- Validates and reconciles supplier invoice issues, and other payment documents as required.
- Overseeing and managing the software, tools and systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
- Prepare and maintain expediting reports.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Oil and Gas.
- Degrees, certifications and additional training will be considered an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with varying client standards and requirements considered an asset.
