What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Prospect and up-sell insurance products to clients across all lines of business
- Generate new business through networking and building Centers of Influence for referrals
- Build strong relationships with clients to promote retention and provide quality advice
- Navigate online portals to complete customer applications and ensure compliance with guidelines
- Collaborate with insurance company Underwriters and liaise between clients and external partners
What is Required (Qualifications)
- General Level 1 or 2 Insurance License or willingness to obtain one within three months
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a results-driven approach to sales
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in challenging situations
- Professional communication skills in person, over the phone, and via email
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for helping people
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Previous experience in Commercial Lines Insurance or sales
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and related regulations
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales and retention targets
- Experience in networking and building referral relationships
