Job summary

A global professional services firm is seeking an Intermediate Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to provide engineering services based in Mississauga, ON. Successful candidates should have expertise in I&C design and previous experience within the oil and gas sector, particularly in refinery operations. Responsibilities will include instrumentation design, support for procurement and construction, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications

  • Intermediate experience required in Instrumentation & Control design and engineering.
  • Background in oil & gas projects desired, especially refinery site experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engineering services on time and within budget.
  • Assist in procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and other disciplines as required.

Skills

Intermediate engineering experience in I&C engineering
Previous oil & gas project experience
Familiar with digital tools
Working knowledge of Instrumentation & Control deliverables
Competent use of software for instrument calculation

Education

Post-Secondary Education in Instrumentation & Control
P.Eng. registered in Ontario or ability to register

Tools

Computer Aided Design software
SmartPlant Instrumentation software
Relevant software like MS Office Suite
