Job Description

The Bilingual Inside Sales, Skyline Capital position will utilize their strong relationship management skills and experience to maintain the highest level of excellence in customer experience for investors while supporting Skyline’s shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities.

This position would be based out of Quebec and would be remote.

What you will be doing
  • Coordinate the production of market insights and specialized research materials aimed at information current and prospective Investment advisors and Portfolio managers on Skyline's offerings.
  • Educate, train and motivate Investment advisors and financial professionals to foster partnerships and stronger relationships, to increase Skyline’s market share in the territory and develop high quality leads for the Regional Vice-President.
  • Support the Regional Vice President in the preparation of client meetings, roadshows, events, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the Group Capital team to increase sales and market share by conducting proactive sales calls with new and existing Investment advisors and Portfolio managers.
  • Develop and foster relationships with Advisors and Institutional firms with the goal of getting Advisory and / or portfolio investment suite offerings.
  • Provide reliable and timely information to current and prospective investors and support prospective and existing investors.
  • Provide client support to maintain excellent customer satisfaction.
What the Role Is All About
  • Create and implement your business plan in collaboration with the Regional Vice-President, for your assigned geographic territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive sales calls to new and existing investment advisors by uncovering and developing opportunities through proactive sales calls and utilizing conceptual selling techniques.
  • Advise & give value-add ideas about Skyline products & services to support advisors in an ever-changing business environment by initiating proactive sales calls to build a sales partnership with advisors in your territory.
  • Provide ongoing support to dealers & brokers regarding market & fund performance, as well as review portfolio profiles.
What Are The Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree is required.
  • Successful completion of a financial services industry program course is required: CSC or CFA Level I.
  • A willingness to pursue new and creative ideas, the motivation to achieve results, dedicated & energetic, strong communication skills – both verbal & written.
  • An interest and curiosity in capital markets and how they relate to the fund industry.
  • Completion of the CFA, CFP or CIM would be an asset but not required.
  • Knowledge of French and English is required to support Investment advisors and Portfolio managers and Team members within and / or outside the province of Quebec.
