Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative
$40,000 - $70,000 CAD

With the rapid growth of oil and gas production, petrochemical, oil refining, and pulp and paper industries, their manufacturing facilities expanded to meet increased demand. They have developed expertise to become a leader in solving fluid containment and control problems.

Customer Service Representative

Reporting to the Customer Service Leader, the CSR handles all external and internal customer interactions professionally and courteously. The primary goal is to create high customer satisfaction. CSR’s support the overall marketing and sales goals of the organization. Responsibilities include:

  1. Respond promptly to customer requests with enthusiasm and urgency.
  2. Provide accurate information on the company’s products and services.
  3. Follow prescribed pricing models and ensure quotes meet company standards and current strategies.
  4. Enter customer orders accurately into the ERP system promptly.
  5. Reply quickly to quotation requests from customers and outside sales reps.
  6. Follow up proactively on quotations and customer information requests to increase sales.
  7. Collaborate with outside sales reps on customer issues, pricing, and special requests, promoting teamwork.
  8. Ensure effective execution of CS processes for quotes, contracts, relations, bids, purchasing, and delivery. Perform administrative tasks as needed.
  9. Observe company policies and conduct quality verifications as per QA requirements.
  10. Communicate effectively with manufacturing, purchasing, warehouse, shipping, and administrative staff to complete transactions accurately and timely.
  11. Prioritize key accounts while maintaining service levels for all customers.
  12. Use time effectively to meet work expectations.
  13. Support continuous improvement initiatives and suggest new ideas.
  14. Maintain professionalism and a clean, organized work environment.
  15. Take responsibility for personal training and embrace new challenges.
  16. Implement corrective and preventive actions, and collect customer feedback for quality improvement.
