What You’ll Do

As an Inside Sales/Content Developer, you're the engine that powers our content. Your goal? Find and develop compelling stories for our various publications by connecting with executives across Canada and the U.S. You’ll drive the process from research and outreach to building relationships and gathering insights that help shape each edition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research industries and identify standout companies aligned with our editorial themes.
  • Cold-call key decision-makers (Presidents, CEOs, etc.) to pitch publication opportunities.
  • Build trusted relationships and guide engaging storytelling conversations.
  • Capture detailed notes from interviews and input into our CRM system.
  • Track all outreach and appointments using Outlook + internal CRM tools.
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly outreach + content generation targets.
  • Collaborate with teammates during weekly check-ins and strategy huddles.
Requirements

  • Proven ability to build rapport, ask thoughtful questions, and listen actively.
  • Confidence in cold-calling and navigating sales conversations with ease.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at juggling multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); CRM experience an asset.
  • Bonus: a degree or diploma in business, communications, or journalism.
