Job Description

We are seeking an Info Security AI Specialist to join a high-impact team responsible for guiding the bank’s technology risk posture from market to scale. This team acts as a strategic advisor, consulted before any AI implementation to ensure best practices, governance, and risk mitigation are in place.

You will work across three collaborative verticals—ITGC, Cloud/Infrastructure, and DevSecOps—to shape the bank’s global security management strategy. Your role will be advisory, not hands-on, and will require strong communication, conflict resolution, and strategic thinking.

This is a hybrid model 4 times a week in Toronto, Ontario, New Jersey, and New York.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on AI risk, governance, and operational simplification.
• Advise teams on technology controls, information security programs, and risk treatment lifecycle.
• Lead risk and control design assessments for application portfolios.
• Evaluate and document control gaps and their impact on business and regulatory compliance.
• Support audit preparation and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance on vendor risk, especially in contracts involving AI technologies.
• Challenge teams constructively to ensure the right solutions are implemented.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and oversee security frameworks.
