Job summary

A dynamic environmental consultancy is seeking experienced Industrial Hygiene field consultants to work primarily on property insurance claims and commercial demolition projects. Qualifications

Job description

We at AERIS are looking for experienced Industrial Hygiene field consultants with a focus to grow within a great, challenging, and fulfilling firm. Our firm creates and nourishes high-quality and long-term relationships within specific industries. This essential position will be heavily focused on Property Insurance Claims and Commercial demolition projects.

Responsibilities
  • Provide thorough site assessments/ surveys, sketches, accurate data inputting, and sampling for residential and commercial properties to provide a detailed report of the findings.
  • Daily projects will primarily revolve around indoor air quality, fire investigations, mold/moisture assessments, asbestos surveys, and asbestos air monitoring.
  • Can accurately fill out COCs (chain of custody)
  • Assisting clients and others as the expert when working alongside contractors, homeowners, occupants, insurance, and legal personnel that may be involved with the site assessment
  • Traveling to multiple properties in a day (25% overnight)
  • Picking up, dropping off, and mailing sampling supplies
  • Continuing clear communications with clients and the manager regarding project status via email/phone
Essential Skills
  • 5+ years of experience with indoor environmental field testing, sampling, consulting, and report writing. Air quality, mold assessments, asbestos surveys, etc.
  • Remediation and abatement knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking to groups of 1-5 individuals while on-site
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Team oriented
Highly Valued Skills
  • Certifications: CIEC, AHERA, CIH, CSP, MAR, MRSA, EPA Lead
  • Google Application proficiency: Gmail, Calendar, and Drive
  • Investigative Field technician experience
  • Health and safety training
  • Knowledge of structural components, building envelope, HVAC knowledge
