Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing processes related to automotive mirrors and engineered glass. The ideal candidate will optimize workflows, drive lean initiatives, and integrate automation in high-volume settings. This role requires a degree in Industrial Engineering and experience in high-volume manufacturing methods. The position offers a salary range of $115-130k, along with medical and dental benefits.

Qualifications

  • Experience with high-volume manufacturing methods, preferably in glass or coatings.
  • Hands-on experience with lean principles and process optimization.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize process flow for glass cutting, coating, and assembly.
  • Conduct time and motion studies and develop SOPs for operations.
  • Work with suppliers to install and optimize automation systems.
  • Partner with quality engineers to enhance surface finish and reduce distortion.
  • Design and refine plant layouts for efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and ergonomics standards.
  • Support R&D in industrializing new technologies.
