Overview

Transdev Canada is hiring an Industrial Coach Driver in Kamloops, BC. This is a part-time position.

Your Role

• Enjoy interacting with the public.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and demeanour.
• Drive various coach/buses or company non-revenue vehicles in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner within the assigned service area and schedule.
• Perform timely fueling of the bus as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with passengers, dispatchers, or fellow drivers via two-way radio systems.
• Report delays, mechanical issues, or accidents promptly.
• Complete and submit written reports regarding passengers, incidents, and accidents.
• Demonstrate vigilance in ensuring passenger safety during emergencies, including guiding evacuation procedures.
• Uphold a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and clear communication.
• Adhere to Transdev\'s standards, policies and procedures.
• Perform other responsibilities as requested or required.

Your Profile

• You have a BC Class 1 or 2 driver\'s license with air brake endorsement.
• You have 2 years minimum experience industrial site driving.
• You have a clean driver\'s abstract.
• Clean drug and alcohol test.

Location

• This is a non-unionized part-time position in Kamloops.
• The role requires you to reside locally in one of these areas.
• Camp is not provided for this role.
• Average schedule of 16 to 32 hours a week.
