Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol assigned areas diligently to detect and deter security threats, ensuring the safety of our community.
  • Enforce regulations to maintain order, resolve conflicts, and monitor establishment activities, fostering a secure environment for everyone.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, taking decisive action when necessary to protect lives and property.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of security activities, contributing to the overall safety and security of the site.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors, reflecting our commitment to excellence in every interaction.
  • Collaborate closely with your reporting supervisor, fellow security guards, and our valued clients to uphold the safety and well-being of the assigned site.
  • Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement and create incident reports.

Requirements:

  • Must be of Indigenous descent (First Nations, Inuit, or Métis).
  • A valid Security Guard License is highly preferred, or the willingness and ability to obtain one, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders such as our teams and clients.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, demonstrating resilience and sound judgment in challenging circumstances.
  • Strong attention to detail and observation skills, essential for detecting and addressing security risks proactively.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, adapting to the dynamic needs of our operation.
  • Minimum age of 18 years, reflecting legal requirements for employment in the security industry.
