A leading risk management firm in Canada is looking for Risk Control Consultants to operate as independent contractors. This role involves conducting insurance-based inspections and providing risk control consulting. The ideal candidates will have strong educational backgrounds and significant experience in risk management. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct property and casualty insurance inspections.
  • Utilize risk control consulting to reduce accidents and claims.
  • Travel to clients’ policyholders on site as needed.

Risk Control Consultants (Independent Contractor)

Davies is looking for Risk Control Consultants to work on an independent contractor basis. Property and Casualty Insurance-based inspection work is the underlying foundation; however, most projects are consultative in nature leading to a better understanding of risk, and a focus on reduction of exposures leading to fewer accidents, injuries, losses and claims.

Due to the rapid expansion and growth of our services and products at Davies, the Risk Consulting Division has immediate and ongoing needs for experienced independent contractor specialists in Fire Protection, Loss Prevention, Risk Control & Mitigation.

Qualifications

Progressive career advancement and technical skills through continuing education, and/or a degree in Fire Protection, and/or a B.Sc., and/or a M.Sc. and/or equivalent are required. Professional designations of EIT, P.Eng., CRM, CRSP, CIT, CIP are highly desirable but not a requirement.
