A local caregiver staffing agency in Ottawa is seeking a full-time in-home caregiver to assist with the care of a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old. Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 30 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is December 1, 2025.

Salary: Wage offered is between $20 and $22 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the provincial minimum wage rate changes.

Duties may include:

1. This job is to help with the care of a 2 children; a 4 year old, and a 1 year old.
2. Supervision of children when parents are not at home, and take the child to and from appointments
3. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
4. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
5. Bathe, and dress the children until they are old enough to do these tasks unassisted
6. Lay the youngest child down for nap time
7. General housework that will include doing, laundry and some ironing.
8. Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment
