In-home caregiver – JiCo… family

Location: Westmount, Quebec. Live-in arrangement in a residential neighbourhood. Access to city bus (bus #124 and #138). Major intersection: Sherbrooke O. St. and Décarie Ave.

Terms of employment: This is a full-time position (between 30 and 40 hours per week). Flexible hours are required. Language: English or French. Job start date: March 1, 2026

Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the First Quartile wage rate changes for this field of work in Quebec.

Benefits and travel: May require travel to Florida in the winter months; employer will pay travel expenses.

Duties

• Cares for an elderly couple who have multiple age-related health issues
• Helps with daily routines including personal hygiene, dressing, and medications
• Plans, prepares and serves meals; kitchen clean-up is also required
• Handles general housework including laundry and dusting
• Provides care and companionship, and accompanies to activities outside the home
• May require travel to Florida in the winter months; employer will pay travel expenses

Qualifications

• Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education
• Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
• Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, patient, and able to manage the job without supervision
