Terms of Employment

Full-time (32-40 hours per week). Flexible hours required. English or French. Start date: As soon as possible.

Salary

$19-$23 per hour. Future adjustments when First Quartile wage rate changes for this field of work in Quebec.

Location

JaPa… lives in Montreal, Quebec. Home located in residential neighbourhood. Nearby schools, parks, and bus lines (#24 & #138). Major intersection: Decarie Blvd. and Sherbrooke St. W.

Responsibilities
  • Help care for a 5-year-old child.
  • Supervise child when parents are not at home.
  • Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading, and outings to provide amusement and exercise.
  • Discipline child according to parents' requested methods.
  • Bathe child as needed.
  • Perform general housework, including laundry and some ironing.
  • Dust rooms to ensure a clean environment.
Qualifications
  • Completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education.
  • At least one year of caregiver experience.
  • Dependable, hardworking, independent, patient, and able to manage job without supervision.
