Working Arrangements: Onsite, 5 days

Possibility of extension/ conversion to FTE? No

Schedule Hours: Between 7am to 6pm EST, Monday to Friday

Rate: $16/hour

Overview

The purpose of this position is to provide the Business Units electronic images on a timely basis. Roles may include opening, preparing and sorting mail received for digital imaging and subsequent processing, and analyzing document content to identify the Business area/work type (Individual Life, Wealth Management, Affinity, GSRS, Bank and/or Group).

Role may also include performing document scanning on high-speed scanners, monitoring workflow queues to troubleshoot imaging issues, providing the appropriate level of QC, and delivering excellent customer service. The role acts as a liaison between Office Services and Business Unit customers and maintains a consistent workflow to meet Service Level Agreements.

  • Receiving mail, sorting, and mailing them

  • Monitor select workflow queues and troubleshoot imaging issues
  • Apply appropriate tracking methodology for specific mail streams
  • Maintain quality control and provide excellent customer service
  • Coordinate with Business Units to ensure timely processing within SLAs
Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills
  • Minimum 1 year of admin/clerical work experience
  • Critical attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
Nice-To-Have Skills
  • Experience in mailing services industry (e.g., UPS or Canada Post)
  • Working knowledge of AWD, CICS, Lotus Notes, IAS, Compass, InfoDirect
  • Experience operating office equipment and troubleshooting minor hardware/software issues
  • Bilingual – fluency in French is an asset
Education

Bachelor's degree not required; looking for experience
