Job summary

A regional health authority in Nova Scotia is seeking a registered nurse in Critical Care to provide direct nursing care in the hospital or community. The ideal candidate must have at least two years of recent Critical Care nursing experience, successfully complete the VIHA ECG Challenge exam, and hold an Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification. Qualifications

• Registration as a practicing RN with BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
• 2+ years of recent Critical Care nursing experience.
• Ability in arrhythmia interpretation with a minimum score of 75% on the VIHA ECG Challenge exam.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide nursing care to patients/residents.
• Work in accordance with hospital policies and standards.
• Report to Nurse Manager or designated authority.
