An exciting Regular Full-Time opportunity as an Appointed Analyst at is available through the Women's College Research Institute, reporting to the scientific project lead.
The Appointed Analyst works collaboratively with internal ICES scientists on projects under supervision of the local lead analyst and the scientific project lead. The candidate will contribute significantly to the development of data set creation and analysis plans and will assume responsibility for all aspects of the data analysis for a research project. He / she will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of ICES data holdings and concepts of health services research. The incumbent will also act as a key resource to research teams at WCRI, supporting their work by providing statistical and methodological guidance and advice on an ad-hoc basis. Specifically, the incumbent will play a key role as a biostatistician, creating statistical analysis plans and performing analysis on research datasets (e.g. clinical), as required.
