What you will do

Under general direction, perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and replacement of HVAC mechanical equipment, Building Control Systems, Security Systems, or Fire Alarm Systems.

Assist branch leadership with coaching and mentoring technicians to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to operational processes.

Provide Level 1 technical support and assist with technical development for team members.

Complete all required project and service documentation accurately.

Deliver high-quality service to customers by solving building inefficiencies and resolving service issues. Act as a trusted advisor by providing effective solutions and outcomes during service calls.

How you will do it

• Adhere to Johnson Controls and customer safety standards.
• Provide safety leadership and instruction to technicians and subcontractors on work sites.
• Serve as a leader and mentor within the branch, recognized by peers.
• Handle escalation points on technical issues and provide on-the-job training.
• Resolve complex system problems through troubleshooting or advising others.
• Coordinate with the Milwaukee technical resource team for critical issues.
• Establish yourself as an expert in your field with employees and customers.
• Ensure proper field operational disciplines are followed by technicians.
• Contribute to branch development and training needs.
• Assist in developing quotes and estimates for work, submitting them to the appropriate parties.
• Identify material needs for service delivery.
• Assist in scheduling personnel with the right skills for repairs or installations.
• Communicate with customers upon arrival and before departure.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by keeping customers informed and recommending system upgrades or repairs.
• Manage work efficiently to meet quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction standards.
• Provide consulting services related to building system repairs and enhancements.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with your service.
• Engage in self-study to improve technical skills and complete required training and certifications.
• Recommend and provide solutions for facility efficiency, including upselling opportunities, and support with quotes.

The hourly rate is $60.87, based on the UA Local 156 CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through the union per the collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with advanced experience or a Gas B ticket may qualify for a dual ticket or Foreman rate based on their qualifications.
