Division: Trotter & Morton Facility Services

Trotter & Morton Facility Services provides 24/7 preventive and predictive mechanical system maintenance and repair to condominiums, commercial, and institutional buildings.

The ideal candidate will be a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician with experience within a mechanical service company. This position requires taking direct instructions with ease, excellent time management skills and strong customer / co-worker communication skills. Roles and Responsibilities

• Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components such as motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators and compressors using hand and power tools
• Install, troubleshoot and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Startup system and test for leaks using testing devices
• Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing
• Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems
• Candidate must also have kept up with their ongoing skills required to service and troubleshoot the constantly changing products found in this HVAC environment.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience

• Journeyperson HVAC Certification
• Gas A Ticket is an asset
• EPA Certification
• Basic knowledge of hand tools
• HVAC Service experience considered an asset
