Responsibilities
- Support client groups of professional employees across Canada
- Coach and support management in leadership development, performance and talent management, change management, employee engagement, human resources and communication
- Design, develop and deliver programs such as orientation, onboarding, performance management, engagement, compensation and annual leadership reviews
- Collaborate with Business Unit management to identify recruitment strategies and resolve recruitment roadblocks
- Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle for all types of positions within the Business Unit
- Ensure legal compliance with HR legislative requirements, conduct investigations and maintain records
- Contribute to continuous process improvement by influencing HR strategies, policies and methods
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development or a related field
- Current CHRP/CPHR professional designation
- Minimum eight years of HR experience, including at least four years in a similar HRBP role supporting a customer group
- Experience in the aviation industry, a federally regulated industry or the military
- Experience creating, developing and implementing HR business solutions for a range of customers
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally across all levels
- Results‑driven with a clear vision for the strategic HR Business Partner role
- Eligibility for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR clearance
