We are hiring an HR Business Partner for our Vancouver client. This is a hands-on role that will require working on all areas of the HR portfolio and accompanying administration. It’s an exciting opportunity where you’ll work with dynamic, high performing individuals.

About The Opportunity

Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for supporting multiple client groups and assist with planning and implementing HR programs, supporting compensation and performance management, lead recruitment efforts and coaching and advising management. The HR Business Partner is a hands-on role that will include related HR administration and requires collaboration across multiple teams.

About The Position
  • Recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Supports the performance management process.
  • Advises and coaches managers and leaders through all employee related issues.
  • Manages employee relations and engagement.
  • Provides compensation analysis and assists with compensation reviews.
  • Facilitates training for managers on HR programs, policies and procedures
  • Manages employee files and maintains HRIS.
  • Benefits administration.
  • General HR administrative tasks.
The Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources.
  • CPHR designation or pursuing is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience; 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role, with 2 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or Advisor role.
  • Experience in a global organization is preferred.
  • Must be able to build relationships and demonstrate the ability to support multiple client groups.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to follow through and meet deadlines is required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate problem-solving abilities, and excellent judgment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Prior experience handling sensitive situations and strong knowledge of employment standards and legislation.
  • Reliable vehicle, this location is not easily transit accessible.
Compensation
  • Annual salary $75,000 – $95,000 depending on experience.
