Role Description
The Human Resources Business Lead (HRBL) is a member of the senior HR leadership team responsible for providing strategic thought leadership, guidance, and advice to business leaders across Hydro One. The HRBL acts as a strategic partner and consultant to a client group, inclusive of 1-2 members of the Hydro One Executive Leadership Team and their direct reports. The role assesses and anticipates HR and business needs and helps develop people strategies to influence outcomes and achieve business goals. The position partners enterprise-wide to deliver value-added service, particularly with HR function specialists in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement and Compensation.
This role reports to the Director, Business HR and leads a team of HR Business Partners, accountable for one or more business function portfolios.
