Job summary

Position Overview

Experience
  • Thorough knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices attained through a minimum of one to two (1-2) years professional experience, preferably in a large unionized setting.
  • Strong background and knowledge across various Human Resources functions such as: recruitment and selection; engagement; labour and employee relations; change management; compensation; and performance management.
  • Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors would be an asset.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Bachelor of Commerce degree (HRStream) preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field supplemented with a Human Resource Management certificate (current enrollment in program accepted).
  • Courses in management skills would be an asset.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience, as deemed appropriate by the Hospital, may be recognized in lieu of the above.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Certified Professional in Human Resource Professional (CPHR) designation preferred.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems and software applications (All Microsoft Office applications, internet software, and database applications).
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand French is strongly preferred.
