Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Cycle Recruitment Consultant to join our team, specializing in Engineering and IT recruitment in Western Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end recruitment processes and a proven track record of successfully placing candidates in technical roles. This role involves managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to onboarding, while also focusing on business development to expand our client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Engineering sectors across Alberta and Texas.
- Understand client needs and tailor recruitment strategies to meet their specific hiring requirements.
- Provide consultation and market insights to clients to help them make informed hiring decisions.
- Candidate Sourcing:
- Proactively source and attract top talent using various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific platforms.
- Leverage a deep understanding of Engineering roles to identify and engage with highly qualified candidates.
- Screening & Interviewing:
- Conduct thorough candidate screenings to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Manage the interview process, including coordinating interviews with clients and providing feedback to candidates.
- Use behavioral and technical interviewing techniques to ensure the best match for both client and candidate.
- Offer Management & Negotiation:
- Facilitate the offer process by communicating offers to candidates and handling negotiations.
- Work closely with clients and candidates to ensure a smooth and positive offer acceptance process.
- Onboarding & Follow-up:
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have the resources and information needed for a successful start.
- Maintain ongoing communication with placed candidates and clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Market Research & Insights:
- Stay updated on market trends, salary benchmarks, and industry developments in Engineering.
- Provide clients with insights and advice on hiring strategies, talent availability, and competitive positioning.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure all recruitment activities are compliant with local labor laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, placements, and client communications.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Engineering sectors to expand the client base in Western Canada.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients by networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging existing contacts.
- Develop customized recruitment solutions and proposals that address the unique needs of prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of business with new clients to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure a seamless transition from business development to service delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, specifically in the Engineering sector, with a strong focus on business development.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of technical roles and requirements in Engineering.
- Business Development Skills: Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals with new clients.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and candidates at all levels.
- Sales & Negotiation: Proven ability to sell recruitment services to potential clients and negotiate offers that satisfy all parties.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes and business development activities simultaneously.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing client needs and market conditions.
- Technology: Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM tools, and other recruitment technologies.
