Job Title: HRIS Analyst

What You Will Do
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing the company’s Workday system to support efficient HR operations and data-driven decision-making. This role partners with HR and business leaders to improve processes, ensure data accuracy, manage integrations, and deliver insightful reporting across all Workday modules.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday modules, including HCM, Time Tracking, Payroll, Absence, Advanced Compensation, and Recruiting.
- Collaborate with business leaders to assess needs, gather requirements, and recommend solutions that drive efficiency and accuracy.
- Support Workday module implementations and system updates through testing, documentation, and communication.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for system and workflow improvements.
- Provide user training, documentation, and support to ensure effective use of Workday functionality.
- Monitor system updates, releases, and best practices to ensure the organization maximizes the value of its HR technology ecosystem.
- Provide end-to-end configuration experience for Workday solutions, including legacy data conversion and integration understanding.
- Research and advise on Workday best practices, module dependencies, reporting, and dashboard capabilities.
- Develop and document HRIS processes, user guides, and best practices.
- Manage and maintain user security roles and access to ensure appropriate data governance and compliance.
- Perform data integrity audits and reconciliation to maintain accurate and reliable HR information.
- Develop, test, and maintain custom and standard Workday reports and dashboards (e.g., calculated fields, composite, and BIRT reports) to support HR and business leaders.
- Support Workday integrations with internal and external systems, including troubleshooting and testing.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, privacy laws (e.g., PIPA, GDPR), and audit requirements.
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders to communicate system changes, facilitate change management, and drive user adoption.
- Liaise with Workday support and third-party vendors to resolve system issues and coordinate enhancements.
Additional Assets
- Experience with custom reports, calculated fields, and security configuration.
- Experience configuring or managing Time Tracking Schedules.
- Familiarity with Workday Studio, EIBs, or Workday Extend for integrations and data management.
- Knowledge of Workday Prism Analytics and advanced reporting tools considered an asset.
- Previous experience supporting multi-entity or multi-jurisdictional HR environments.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Workday system administration, analysis,
