About the Role :

Ferrero Canada is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our Brantford Production Unit. This is a high-impact role for a proactive HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has a strong background in employee relations such as conducting investigations, managing the progressive disciplinary processes, leaves management and conflict resolution. Our ideal candidate has demonstrated experience and a track record of success managing stakeholder relationships.

Main Responsibilities :

As an HR Generalist, you will :

  • Serve as a key HR partner to production teams, supporting both hourly and salaried employees.
  • Lead and support employee relations matters including :
  • Workplace investigations (harassment, health & safety violations)
  • Progressive discipline and performance management
  • Conflict resolution and termination processes
  • Provide guidance on workplace policies, employment legislation, immigration matters and leave management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for investigations, accommodations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Collaborate with HR Managers and cross-functional teams (Payroll, Talent, Health & Safety).
  • Managing full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for hourly employees.
  • Assisting in coordinating company-wide events and activities.
  • Lead and or support various HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Walk the manufacturing floor daily to build relationships and maintain a pulse on the organization.

Who we are looking for :

  • 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, workplace investigations, and progressive discipline.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, PeopleDoc preferred).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including support during night shifts as needed. Ability to be on site support 5 days a week.
  • Positive Attitude. You approach your work and the tasks at hand in an optimistic way and you’re enthusiastic about improvement.
  • Self Starter. You are comfortable owning a task from start to finish and you take the initiative to make continuous process improvements. You observe strict deadlines and hold yourself accountable for your deliverables.
  • Providing on-demand HR support to your client group and demonstrated experience and a track record of success managing stakeholder relationships will set you apart!
  • You have excellent communication skills, you approach obstacles with empathy, you have professional maturity and a kind but firm approach to managing stakeholders.
  • You’re independent, resourceful, and a driven problem-solver
  • Experience working in cross functional team
  • Experience managing Projects and programs, and policy development
