A community support agency in Barrie, Ontario, is seeking a Homemaker for a full-time position to assist clients living independently. Responsibilities include cleaning, meal preparation, and providing support in accordance with client service plans. Ideal candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. Total compensation is $20.91 hourly along with benefits including travel pay and a signing bonus.

ILS is an Ontario Health funded not for profit agency providing support and services to adults wishing to live independently in their homes. Through our programs and services, we are able to assist adults living with permanent physical disabilities and seniors aging at home lead independent, dignified, and productive lives.
Reporting to the Program Supervisor, the Homemaker's major responsibility is to assist the Client Services Supervisor to provide a high-quality service within ILS's policies, procedures, and other operating constraints and obligations. This position will provide homemaking services including cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, etc. to promote independent living for clients living in the community. They will work cooperatively and professionally with other healthcare providers and ILS staff members to provide instrumental activities of daily living services to clients, as identified on the client's service plan and directed by the client.
$20.91 hourly
