What You’ll Do

The Service Technician is responsible for teardown, inspection, assembly and testing of off-highway components including marine gears, powershift transmissions, torque converters, planetary axles, transfer cases and industrial power take-offs, as well as working on heavy-duty off-highway equipment. The Service Technician is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with service and re-manufacturing customers and vendors by identifying and providing solutions to component malfunctions and failures through the inspection, diagnosis, repair, reconditioning, and preparation of equipment (unit) in a satisfactory and timely fashion, both in-house and in the field.

Are You the Right Fit?

Ask yourself these questions — if you answer “YES!”, we want to hear from you:

  • 2+ years of experience working with heavy equipment or automotive
  • Previously worked on powertrain components (heavy-duty or automotive)
  • Certification in diesel or automotive (preferred but not required)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting, failure analysis, and basic hydraulic/electrical principles
  • Able to work independently with minimal or no guidance
  • Able to read assembly manuals, drawings and schematics
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Good physical condition (ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours)
  • Strong communication with customers and a sense of urgency

We provide ongoing OEM factory training on specific product lines, and technicians are encouraged to attend other training programs to improve their skills.
