Location: Halifax

Contract: Permanent Full Time (37.5 hrs per week)

Salary: £12.69 - £13.31 per hour

Health Support Worker – Deaf Services

Full‑time shift pattern: 10:00–23:00 (sleep‑in paid until 07:00) followed by 07:00–10:30.

Requirements

• Understanding of or willingness to learn British Sign Language (BSL)

Duties

• Provide support and care to individual residents, including travel, meal and care planning, organising social activities and maintaining the home.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Residential Support Worker to join our team within one of our residential homes based in Halifax / Doncaster.

Residents who are deaf or hard of hearing often cope with communication difficulties. We provide training, support and supervision to support workers.
