We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Title Health Science Placement Coordinator to manage and support student clinical placements using the HSPNET system. This role is essential in ensuring smooth coordination between students, academic programs, and healthcare partners, contributing to the success of our health science programs.

You will oversee placement logistics, maintain accurate records, and serve as a key liaison between the college and external organizations. Your work will help students gain meaningful hands‑on experience in clinical and community settings.

This is a full‑time on-campus position at Surrey, Campbell River, or Nanaimo. Salary Range: $50,000 to $65,000 (depending on experience and qualification).

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage student clinical placements through the HSPNET platform and in collaboration with health care facilities.
  • Communicate with healthcare partners, faculty, and students to confirm placement details.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements for placements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in HSPNET and internal systems.
  • Provide guidance and support to students regarding placement processes and expectations.
  • Troubleshoot placement issues and resolve conflicts promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with academic teams to align placements with curriculum requirements.
Qualifications
  • Post‑secondary education in health sciences, administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with HSPNET or similar placement management systems is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
Computer Skills Required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for collaboration.
  • Ability to navigate and manage data in HSPNET or similar platforms.
  • Strong digital record‑keeping and database management skills.
