Job summary

A leading energy company based in Canada is looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to provide guidance and support to operations, projects, and construction teams. This role is critical in enhancing health and safety programs and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a background in Occupational Health and Safety, have strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, and have 5-7 years of relevant experience, especially in the energy sector. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships are essential. The position is safety-sensitive and includes pre-employment alcohol and drug testing.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of Alberta and Ontario OHS legislation and best practices.
• Proficient in workplace inspections and management system auditing.
