Job summary

A regional healthcare authority in Parksville is seeking an experienced Administrative Clerk to support a multidisciplinary team. This role involves effective communication with patients, healthcare professionals, and community agencies, alongside clerical support tasks such as data processing and scheduling. Ideal candidates will have a Secretarial or Office Administration Certificate and at least one year of related experience including patient scheduling. A valid BC driver's license is required for travel related to this position.

Qualifications

  • One (1) year recent, related experience including experience with patient scheduling.
  • Experience with spreadsheet and database applications.
  • Travel is a requirement of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Support the multidisciplinary team by providing communication links between patients and healthcare providers.
  • Provide clerical support, including word/data processing and document typing.
  • Answer general inquiries and manage scheduling and timekeeping.
