Responsibilities
- Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
- Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products
- Ship orders
- Weigh materials and goods
- Make labels and attach to goods
- Wrap goods
- Pack and unpack goods
- Sort, crate and stack goods
Experience and specialization
- Vehicle and equipment experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Conveyor
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Requirements
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Work site environment: Dusty, Hot, Noisy
- Work setting: Rural area, Warehouse, Manufacture
- Work conditions: Fast‑paced, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Handling heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Physical abilities: Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours
- Own tools/equipment: Steel‑toed safety boots
- Own transportation: Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence
