Overview

Graphic Designer

Carmens Group is looking for an artistic, technically proficient and passionate Graphic Designer to join our Head Office team!

You will play a key role in planning and executing engaging digital content for a portfolio of premium food & hospitality brands. Our ideal candidate is a creative self-starter, a superb communicator and someone that thrives in a dynamic and growing work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design and produce digital and print assets including social media graphics, email templates, brochures, signage and presentations.
  • Develop and guide the visual identity of the brands creating graphics for digital and print use.
  • Produce engaging content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels focusing on video and photography.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating websites for our brands, enhancing user experience and ensuring up-to-date content.
  • Assist in the design and development of company websites as needed.
  • Write compelling copy for websites, blogs, emails and marketing materials.
  • Familiarity with the print production process.
  • Oversee and optimize paid ad campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Track, analyze and report on web traffic, conversions and campaign performance, tying these to venue leads and profitability.
  • Manage and optimize SEO, SEM and PPC campaigns to enhance visibility and drive traffic to our websites.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years proven experience in graphic design and digital content creation.
  • University degree or College Diploma/Certificate in Graphic Design, Advertising or Marketing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in graphic design content creation including photography and videography.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, WordPress, Later, Canva, Microsoft Office, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and Mailchimp.
  • Passion for the industry; food & beverage experience or knowledge of hospitality is considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, great communication, sense of urgency and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in an environment of rapid change and shifting priorities.
  • Must be an effective team player and able to work collaboratively and independently with venues and leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal.
  • Strong work ethic, team oriented, positive and energetic with a great sense of humour.
