Job description

Voronoi Health Analytics Inc. develops advanced AI-driven medical imaging technologies that transform raw clinical scans into quantitative, actionable health insights. Our platforms support research groups, hospitals, and industry partners working to improve patient outcomes through accurate organ, tissue, and disease metrics. We are expanding our engineering team and seeking a motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and scale the next generation of imaging analytics tools.

This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates beginning their careers in software engineering. You will work within a cross-functional product team—including data scientists, imaging specialists, and senior engineers—to develop and maintain software products powering AI-driven medical image analysis. You will contribute to feature design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support across our platforms, including the Data Analysis Facilitation Suite (DAFS).

Responsibilities
  • Develop clean, reliable, and maintainable code to deliver new features, optimize performance, and resolve bugs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver components suitable for both research and clinical environments.
  • Validate software with unit, integration, and ensure segmentation accuracy and robustness of derived metrics.
  • Maintain and improve documentation, API references, and user guides.
  • Contribute to best practices for secure data handling, anonymization workflows, and healthcare-ready deployment.
Eligibility Requirements (Graduate Transition Initiative)
  • Ability to work full-time in Newfoundland and Labrador starting January 2026.
  • Legally entitled to work full-time in Newfoundland and Labrador.
  • Completion (within the past two years) of a minimum one-year post-secondary or skills-training program at a recognized NL institution (e.g., MUN, CNA, Keyin College, Get Building, etc.).
  • Not currently enrolled as a full-time student.
Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with full stack development (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, Django/FastAPI).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, or distributed systems is an asset.
  • Interest in medical imaging (CT/MRI/PET), data pipelines, or AI/ML workflows is a plus.

This position is funded through the Graduate Transition Initiative, delivered by techNL and the Department of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development. The initiative provides support to eligible companies that hire recent graduates into software development and tech sales roles, providing meaningful early-career experience while supporting long-term growth in Newfoundland and Labrador’s tech sector.
