The Department of Highways and Public Works has a GradCorps opportunity for a Client Service Specialist. Working with the IT and Client Solutions branch, this position will manage IT work requests from clients, providing first‑level technical support and troubleshooting.

Salary & Term

This position will work for a one‑year Term from approximately May 2026 to April 2027. The salary will be 80% of the starting salary – $57,058.

Essential Qualifications

Additional Information

Conditions of Employment:

Class 5 Yukon Drivers’ License.

Job Requirements: Must be willing to travel throughout the Yukon.

Eligibility List

NOTE: To qualify for the GradCorps program, you must:

• be a resident of Yukon or a person of Yukon First Nations ancestry*
• have graduated with a diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution within the past two years (2024, 2025 or 2026 grads – all requirements for graduation must be complete before internship start date)
• have little or no work experience in your field of study
• If you are a resident of Yukon who completed your studies outside of the territory, you may apply up to two years after graduation.
