Job Summary

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable General Laborer to join our construction team in Guelph/Kitchener, Ontario. As a General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various construction projects by performing physical tasks, assisting skilled tradespeople, and maintaining a safe and organized worksite.

Work will be 20 - 40 hours a week depending on job site needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in site preparation and cleanup, including removing debris and setting up tools and equipment.
  • Carry and load materials, supplies, and tools to and from worksites.
  • Support skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, drywall installers) with tasks as required.
  • Operate basic tools and equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
  • Perform general construction tasks such as digging, lifting, cutting, and assembling materials.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project efficiency.
Qualifications
