Front-End Developer (Intermediate or Senior)

Vancouver, BC

If you have a passion for building web applications and love working in a team, we want to work with you. We want you to play an active part in our development at a niche and nimble SaaS company.

We’re looking for someone to help shape our frontend framework, take new design elements, and work with a strong backend team to build and ship new features.

Our Stack

• Languages: Angular, Node, Rails, Coldfusion
• Databases: MsSQL, Aurora

Your Role Will Include

• Help to develop the next version of our platform, including decisions on front-end frameworks, UI/UX, and technologies.
• Working with the UI/UX team to implement pixel perfect versions of the designs.
• Coach other developers with code reviews, pair programming, etc.

What You’ll Bring to our Team

• 5+ years of experience in Front-End JavaScript programming
• 3+ years experience developing large scale web applications
• Expertise in one or more JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Ember, Backbone, etc…)
• You write clean, efficient and testable code, and have experience with TDD
• Experience building into scalable REST APIs and microservices
• Understanding of fundamental UX principles
• Being able to take mockups, and build them with attention to detail.

Some Nice to haves

• AWS Experience
• Experience with Angular 2 / Typescript
• Understanding of backend technologies (Node or Rails)
