Job Purpose

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, provides quality patient care within the scope of professional nursing practice.

Essential Qualifications

• Active registration with ANBLPN
• Current BCLS certification
• Willing to participate in continuing education/certification programs (i.e. breastfeeding certification, non-violent crisis intervention, Periop 101, ASIST, etc.) as outlined during orientation and onboarding within a defined timeframe.
• Minimum 1 year recent and direct experience (within last 5 years) in Mental Health, obstetricial and medical/surgical patients, etc. may be required depending on the department. A combination of relevant work experience and related education training will be considered.
• Demonstrated assessment skills and ability to respond to emergent situations and prioritize care.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and adherence to relevant legislation.
• Good work and attendance record.
• Ability to perform the duties of the position.
