Job description

We are seeking a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality diagnostic reporting and, where applicable, interventional radiology procedures in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and report on a wide range of medical imaging studies, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine (as applicable).
  • Perform interventional and procedural radiology (if within skill set).
  • Collaborate with referring clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient management.
  • Ensure all work meets professional, ethical, and quality standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and continuing professional development (CPD).
  • Contribute to teaching and mentoring radiology registrars or junior doctors (if applicable).
Qualifications & Experience
  • Essential: Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR)
  • Current registration (or eligibility) with AHPRA
  • Comprehensive clinical experience across diagnostic modalities
  • Desirable: Subspecialty interest or fellowship training (e.g. Neuroradiology, MSK, Body, Breast, Interventional, Paediatrics)
  • Experience with teleradiology systems and structured reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
