Job Description

We are looking for a Forklift Operator to join our Non Ferrous team for the afternoon shift Monday-Friday (2:30-11:00pm) in Hamilton, Ontario! This is a full‑time, permanent position. You will be responsible for moving material through the facility while safely operating a forklift and other heavy equipment as needed.

What you’re responsible for:
  • Operating a forklift and other heavy equipment to safely load and unload non ferrous material
  • Transporting materials to appropriate areas in the yard
  • Assisting with yard/facility organization and inventory management
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, free of any loose material
  • Following all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines
Qualifications
To join our team:
  • You have previous experience operating a forklift (asset)
  • You have a minimum of 12 months experience as a labourer
  • You are comfortable working in a loud and dusty environment
  • You are comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (mask, plugs, hard hat, glasses)
  • You have basic computer skills and the ability to work in a team and on your own
